Joining the Pennine Way , the route south ascends Kinder Scout and across the edge


Further on at Mill Hill the impressive northern front of Kinder Scout comes into view


Hurst Reservoir & Glossop from Featherbed Moss


Ahead lies the top of the Snake Pass with Bleaklow behind


The route follows on old Roman road called Doctors Gate


Crooked Clough & Alport Low


High above are the Higher & Lower Shelf Stones


The path follows Shelf Brook back to Glossop
